    A:  Hello Janer, The shower system is certified to remove chlorine. In addition, it will remove/reduce other harsh synthetic chemicals, lead, mercury, and other known contaminants removed by carbon filtration. Natural coconut shell carbon filters out chlorine and other harsh chemicals, while copper/zinc media further reduces chlorine and enhances water pH balance.             Q:I installed my shower filter and white wand. Will the white hose eventually straighten out or will it always be kinked out?

            A:  I have the same product. The hose has never straightened. That said, I did not take the time to lay the new hose flat across a table before installing which you may help. This is a nice product. I would warn you that the small part that holds the removable shower head in place has broken on mine and I need to have it replaced.

                  A:  I have used the Aquasana shower filter for over 10 years and found it to be very good in removing chloramine from the water. Immediately noticed the difference in my skin and hair. Would recommend it to anyone.
