Q:I need a 3/16th alluminum pop rivet with a large head and grip range of 3/4 to 13/16th to fasten down 5/8 plywood to an aluminum trailer. I asked this question several days ago and it reccommended that I use a 3/16th in by 1/2 inch rivet, that's to short

A: Might want to get rivets that we're made for old snowmobile tracks with cleats for durability,if you use this type you will need a longer grip range obviously,of course stainless would be best,strong and last,now they are more $ and tough to pop with a cheesy gun

Q:I need aluminum rivets to install a 5/8 plywood deck on an aluminum trailer. The grip range is slightly more than 3/4 inch total. looking for 3/16 diameter, large flange head aluminum pop rivets. please advise me on this, thanks.

A: Hello - These rivets have a maximum grip range of 1/2" and a 3/16” diameter. Because your material is greater than 3/4", these rivets won't work. Unfortunately they are the longest rivets Arrow makes. - Your Arrow Fastener Team
