Q:We removed backsplash tile and cleaned walls - will patch where needed. Can this product be tinted to Behr weathered white to prime and cover existing paint and white patches until we are ready to tile again someday?
by|Aug 13, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hi there, thank you for your question. While our Kitchen, Bath & Trim Primer can be tinted, primers are not designed to provide the same level of coverage, color, and protection as paint. Additionally, I'd like to mention that we recommend topcoating primers within 30 days of application to minimize dirt collection and chalking. For the best results, I recommend painting over the primer until you're ready to retile. -Lina
