A: This outlet is a timer. You need to turn the dial and set the time of day it is. Then you need to pull up all pins, and then push down the pins that you want the timer to come on till the time you want it to go off.

Q:I saw an answer that appears to address my question, but would like to confirm. I want to program lights to come on in the morning for a few hours then shut off, then come on again in the evening for a few hours before shutting off for the night.
