A:  Hi Thomas. Thank you for shopping at The Home Depot. According to Backyard Discovery, a hole drilling map for concrete footers is not provided. A simple measurement would be to go from the center of each post out to mark the center of the hole to be dug for your footer. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Rick_HD_OC

A:  There is a chance that it may fit two cars. We would just recommend to look at the post to post dimensions and determine if they will work with the size of your vehicles.

A:  This unit can be a free-standing unit just know we have only tested them while being anchored so we would not know the wind ratings if you choose not to anchor them.

A:  Hi Gary- Because we have never tested that for safety we would not recommend hanging a swing from the unit.

A:  Absolutely! We wouldn't have anything to make it taller, but if you pour concrete footers that is perfectly fine as it will allow you to still adequately anchor it with the included concrete anchor screws.

A:  All of the wood needs to be sealed as none of it is treated,

A:  While our gazebos were not designed to have ceiling fans attached, we have designed our sets to withstand a load up to 50 lbs./square foot. Adding a ceiling fan will not threaten the structure's stability but be aware that driving hardware into the roof could poke a hole in the roof and create an area for rainwater to get in, causing rust to occur. We recommend attaching ceiling fan support brackets to the rafter boards and/or ridge boards to avoid adding holes into the roofing material.

A:  Hello, We do recommend that you do put it on cement footers. It will come with the anchors to attach it to the cement. The posts are 6x6. Backyard Discovery

A:  I am very sorry, but Backyard Discovery does not provide any stamped engineering drawings because the final project would be dependent on local requirements which can change significantly depending on the municipality and extenuating circumstances (i.e. soil, surface pad, etc.). Please do note though our gazebo and pergola products undergo strenuous testing and are certified to meet certain loads for both wind(100 mph) and snow.
