A:  it's a tub mount. 2 1/4 inches from tub

A:  Yes. There is a spout to fill the bathtub but it has a small diameter and does not fill the tub very fast.

A:  No plastic in this. The white handles are ceramic and the rest is polished chrome. I installed this in an antique claw foot tub in my 1903 historic arts and crafts home and it looks and operates great. I installed a riser pipe along with a shower head to this in a surround shower enclosure and the finished product looks and works great.

A:  I ran into the same situation. Just slide the compression ring on your shower pole and insert the threaded end into the faucet. Tighten the chrome nut onto the faucet and you should be good to go. It is an awesome faucet.
