Q:I would like to repair a broken wield on the "neck" of my radiator and don't know the difference between braise and wield. It's a brass radiator, what type of sticks should I use?

          Answer This Question

A:  Radiator repair is NOT for beginners. Copper core radiator repair is done with solder. NOT brazing or welding. Even pros now usually replace radiators. Specialists used to do this delicate job, but low-cost radiators are now cheaper than refurbishing.
