Q:What is the difference between the models C1111 and C1111P?
by|Apr 6, 2024

Answer This Question

A:  Hello Joe, Thank you for contacting AHF Products.  The “P” suffix on C1111P indicates a full pallet order for Home Depot.  There are 16 cartons per pallet.  The C1111 would be less than a full pallet order. If you should have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us by phone at 866-243-2726, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern time, or via email at ahfproductsupport@ahfproducts.com.

    Answer This Question

A:  Hello, Thank you for contacting AHF Products.                                                          We apologize for the inconvenience, but we do not manufacture treads or risers. We do, however, manufacture the stair nosing for this product. The model number is T731-78.  Regarding the stain, we do not manufacture our stains and would not have any codes. We suggest taking a sample of the product to a home center or paint store, to have a custom stain created.  Once again, thank you for contacting AHF Products. I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again by e-mail at productsupport@ahfproducts.com or by phone at 1-866-243-2726, Monday through Friday from 9am to 4:30pm, EST.  Additional information may also be found at our technical website www.hardwoodexpert.com.

A:  HD website says 62 pounds per box. Note that the pieces are not all the same length. That's good because it breaks the pattern on the floor.

Q:Can this flooring be glued down to concrete base

            Answer This Question

A:  Hi there,  Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your question. While it is possible to glue down this floor, we do not generally recommend it as it is less cost-effective. When gluing down solid hardwood, the only recommended adhesive is the Armstrong Summit 2-in-1 adhesive. Additionally, your waste factor could go up to 20%. We suggest looking into an engineered floor if you would like to glue it down to concrete. Please feel free to contact our Customer Services at 1-866-243-2726, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST., if you'd like additional assistance. Have a wonderful day.

Q:What is difference between this bruce flooring and the bruce sold at LL? Looks like the quality of the HD product is not same a LL? 15 year vs 50 year? Is the wear layer the same? Pattern consistency? There has to be a difference.

A:  I bought my wood the end of August waiting I was told for the transition and it will be two week before they can install it? Still waiting

              by|Sep 21, 2021

A:  Hi Mike, Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your question, It has to do with grading. For example, the 50-Year Warranty product will have less natural characteristics, such a mineral streaks and it would have a much cleaner face. The more imperfections in the face, the lower the warranty year. These products are run on the same production line and the grading would determine whether it is Plano with a 15-Year warranty or th LL product with a 50-Year Warranty. I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to contact our Customer Services at 1-866-243-2726, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. EST., if you'd like additional assistance. Have a wonderful day.

A:  I used 15 ga 2" flooring cleats, which worked perfectly when possible to use a flooring nailer. And I used 16 ga finish nails when unable to use the flooring nailer.
