          Answer This Question

A:  s The entire door is one piece of glass with the grids placed over it. I gues it might be possible to cut one out, but, boy, what a project. Not something I would do.

A:  Interesting question. I would say yes but contact the manufacturer and ask whether it is one large or 15 small panes to be sure. I would still venture yes.

A:  These are individual panes, so yes one can be removed.

                    Answer This Question

A:  Yes we had to saw about 2 inches off the bottom. No problem with cutting the height down. Hanging great

                    by|Sep 2, 2019

A:  Try to get a 78 inch door and then only take the 1/2. 2-1/2 is too much.

                      by|Sep 1, 2019

A:  Yes. You can trim 2 1/2” off. I suggest taking maybe 1“ from top and 1 1/2” from the bottom to keep the look/ratio balanced.

A:  Yes. Pretty sure that’s about how much we had to take off.

                        by|Sep 2, 2019

A:  Yes, you can. You would need to remove it from the bottom as the top measurement would be too close to the glass panes. We were renovating, so had no problem using the door as received.

A:  Maddog, Yes, they are tempered As far as clear pine, I do believe the door is pine, but the door was unfinished when I received mine. You would add the coat of clear finish yourself. The windows have a plastic film over them so you don't have to tape the windows, but after coating, use a razor blade to cut between wood and film. This coating makes painting / clear finishing very easy. If I answered your question correctly, would you be happydog?

A:  They are separate panes of glass and are the code required glass for doors and windows close to the floor. The door comes with a protective coating on each side of the glass to allow for painting or staining
