Q:I am not sure how there can be people claiming it is a high quality house and others say its a piece of crap. Its all about the connections with a hose and being able to handle the pressure. A tire company name on the rubber means nothing.

A: I have owned three of these hoses for 12 years. They all sit constantly in the Arizona sun when not in use. They are in superb condition. Connections are great, hoses have no kinks. Best hoses I have ever bought.

A: Hello Scott,
Thank you for your interest in the Continental water hose. We do not manufacture it in a 100 ft. length. You would have to purchase two 50 ft. hoses and join them together at the fitting. Regards, Continental Customer Care

A: Good Lord, it's so much easier to coil and transport a couple 50' hoses, than a huge 100'. If I had a 100' hose, I'd cut it in half and add new fittings for that reason alone!

Q:I currently have an older black rubber hose. It's heavy but durable.
The black color has rubbed off on the house paint when rolled up on a hose holder attached to the house and on my hands. Does this brand have the same issue?

A: Hello Skeeter,
Thank you for your interest in the commercial grade rubber hose from Continental. It is a heavy duty hose and made for durability, not necessarily flexibility like some hoses on the market. It will become easier to roll as you use it. Regards, Conti Care Team

A: I hate to contradict< posted reviews but I have cussed these hoses since I got them. They twist and kink WAY TOO Easy! One finally sprung a leak after only 3 years and I will never buy these again especially given the price has doubled since I bought!
