A:  They all take a couple tries. Make sure you have the knob turned to full gas setting then push the knob down. Should start the igniters. When you see flame keep holding the button down for another couple seconds. There is a thermocouple that needs to heat up, otherwise it will cut the gas off. Besides that this cook top is GREAT! Inexpensive and cleans up wonderfully.
