Q:I replaced CFL’s with these. While I like that these dont flicker like the CFL’s these do buzz when on. I have them on an LED dimmer and they make noise no matter how bright or low I have them turned. Why is this? Its terrible when trying to watch a movie due a quiet or silent scene.

A: Unfortunately that happens but it's not the light bulb. The light bulb picks up electrical interference. https://recessedlightspro.com/led-lights-buzzing-noise-troubleshoot/

A: I have the same problem, and you can not use these dimmable led on garage door too, as they emit strong frequency that blocks the signal from your remote control. I changed mine to different led.

Q:Do these flicker on video? That is, if you shoot video lit by these bulbs, is the result flickery? NOTE: Please only answer if you have actually done the test. If you answer "They look fine to me but I haven't tried video," I will hunt you down and replace every bulb in your house with a hot pink strobe light. Thanks!

by|Jun 16, 2020
A: I have found no problem with flickering. I have taken many photos with bulbs in the room and no problem. Are you taking video of the bulbs themselves? That's a weird thing to do. And hot pink strobe lights might look nice...
