A: I just tried this stuff today because I never seen it before and was curious how it applies versus. the USG brand joint compound. So far I really like it. I would say it's about the same/as-good as the other joint compound out there. The biggest differences I have noticed; it seems to go on just a little smoother (slightly less thick than the USG brand). It also has less of an odor, at least to me.

A: Depends on area and quantity. Small areas are faster then deeper wider ones. I have learned to allow 6 or more hours unless you are in an absolute rush but that is risky.

A: The instructions say it is ready to work with and "wet sand" after 12~ hours. But the full dry time is 24 hours before final sanding and finishing.

A: Depends on how heavily it is applied. Super thin coats can dry in <20 minutes, heavy duty applications should be left overnight at least. Goes on kind of grey-ish, dries white-ish so if it looks patchy in color it's not dry.
