Q:Would 4 of these support a 2300 Ib. steel beam temporary?

Answer This Question
A: NO way!! I had two holding up 15 sheets of drywall, that's 1000 pounds of weight. When I finished hanging the drywall, the hinge head on one of them cracked completely across and fell off. The other one was damaged as well. The legs held up fine. I used this as a work surface, so there was some sliding of the drywall, when stacked, but that wasn't a lot.
What about building jacks??? Or just plain blocking stacks?

A: They are supposed to hold up to 2500 lbs. each. As long as the load is evenly distributed, 2300 on four should be no problem.

A: According to DeWalt, a pair will support 2500 lbs. 4 should be plenty sufficient. Always be careful when supporting that much weight. Make sure the sawhorses are level and all 4 feet of each horse is in solid contact with the floor. do not attempt this on gravel or dirt. Hope this might be of some help to you.

A: Strongly Recommend you contact Dewalt directly for an accurate answer to a question this important.

A: Theoretically they would, I think the horses are rated at 2500 individually. I've never had anything that heavy on mine though, so I really don't know. They are heavy duty, that's for sure.

A: Sorry, I don’t remember exactly, I just know that I was also looking for a domestic product, and had to settle for this. This stand is also poorly designed, but well made, the legs are very sturdy, but it has a the hinge head that can not take any sort of lateral stress. I had a load of dry on two of them and was using it as a holding/work area and the piece right above the hinge of the saw horse broke off from all of the sliding of the dry wall. The legs held the weight of the drywall until I finished, but the sawhorse wwas not usable afterward.
