      A:  Unfortunately, there is no attachment/modification established to attach spindles to the arms to either the 23-196 or 23-197 Grinders.

            A:  Yes. 4 pre-drilled holes

              A:  The 23-196 6" Grinder comes pre-drilled with four mounting holes. It will also fit the Grinder Stand model 23-040 stand. It should have no porblem mounting to a table top.

                    A:  You should't have any issues with the width as long as you purchase correct wire wheel for 6 inch bench grinder. When you say remove the cover i assume you are referring to the safety plate. That being said It is NEVER suggestible to remove plate and run the equipment without it .

                      A:  Of course, they recommend you not remove the cover. It's a liability issue. But in real life, most people doing any kind of production remove the cover so they can get work done. Self included.

                        A:  The recommended Wheel Dimensions: 6" Diameter x 3/4" Thick and the shaft diameter is 1/2" for the 23-196 Grinder. We don't recommend removing the cover.
