Answer This Question
A: Hi Janis! Thank you for your question, I would be more than happy to help you. Batteries are needed to power both the LED and solenoid. If the batteries die, the faucet will not activate while in touch mode. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact us directly.

A: Both. There is a plug you can get instead of the batteries as another option. Batteries work pretty well. Mine went probably 9 months before I needed to change them out.

Q:how do i get a water supply line ?
by|May 26, 2020

A: Hal
Faucet comes with 2 supply lines included. If you have a damaged supply line and want to repair/replace it, I think you have to get a whole new faucet. The design doesn't readily allow for replacement line. You would have to disassemble the faucet and not sure that is possible.
by|May 29, 2020
A: Dear Hal, thank you for your question. The supply lines are included for this model - InnoFlex PEX one-piece supply lines that all but eliminate leaks. These supply lines are not orderable on their own. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to contact us directly. Best Regards, Tyler

Q:Does this faucet default to stream from spray mode when the water is turned off?
by|Feb 13, 2020

Answer This Question
A: No, there is a rectangular button on the spout of the faucet where you select spray or stream.
by|Feb 15, 2020
A: No. To change settings you have to manually press button.
by|Feb 14, 2020
A: There is not a default mode. The switch between stream and spray is manual. It will stay on the last chosen selection the next time you turn the water on.
by|Feb 17, 2020
A: Thank you for your question, Mikki! The spray selection will remain on the setting it is left on when it is turned back on.

A: Hello Jjarlath,
Thank you for your question. The difference between the Delta Essa kitchen and bar/prep faucets is the height and reach of the spout assemblies. The Bar/Prep 9913-BL-DST faucet is smaller in size than the kitchen 9113-BL-DST standard kitchen faucet.

Q:can I bypass the touch technology and just use it as a "regular" faucet and if so, how?
by|Aug 18, 2019

Answer This Question
A: Yes, and you have too often as the batteries do not last long enough. Kinda frustrating!
by|Feb 17, 2020
A: If you're not using the technology, why pay the higher price? Faucets without the technology can be less expensive depending on brand.

A: Hi, Jan!
Thank you for your question. The solenoid assembly for the Delta 9913T-AR-DST Faucet can be bypassed so that the faucet be used as a non-touch faucet. To do this, first turn the handle in the 'off' position. Have a bucket and/or towels ready for any excess water that may drip. From under the sink, remove the connections at the time and bottom of the solenoid assembly. Remove the solenoid assembly, entirely. Connect the two lines at the same connection and secure with the blue clip. Here is a link to the Maintenance and Instruction Manual to show these steps:

Q:I have this faucet for a while now. It works, but has an issue with uneven water flow. In any position or volume the water stream is not smooth, not continuous. When water hits the sink it splashes. In any setting.
The aerator is there, but not helping. The only smooth flow comes with the highest volume, which is just too much. Anybody has this problem and a fix? Thanks.

A: I've had this faucet at least 2 yrs now and I wouldn't buy another one. The battery case is ceap and breaks easily. Doesn't have a catch on top to hold batteries tight. Should have had 2 latchson either side that snap down tight. Batteries need to be replaced every 6 months. The electric wires are short and because the battery container is so cheap it's difficult and awkward to change the batteries without breaking the wire. The touch is very temperamental. I don't recommend this faucet at all. I will say Delta has been very good about replacing the case and one of the other parts that went without an argument.

A: I have not experienced these issues.

A: Is the touch-valve installed? If it gets debris in it you will have touch problems and flow problems. My valve had problems from the start so I bypassed it (according to the instructions). You can also try cleaning out the screen.

A: First check to see if connection from the hose to spray head is loose. Pull head out several inches and turn water on an see if water is coming from this connection, If so tighten connection.
If water is coming out of black button which switches the water from spray to stream and your the original owner of faucet with a receipt, call Delta faucets and they will send you a new one. You can get their phone number by going to their website.

A: Hello Sweetie,
Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Essa Pull-Down Bar/Prep 9913-RB-DST faucet. All of our Pull-Down Kitchen faucets are designed for the handle to be installed on the right side. However, this faucet can be installed with the handle facing the left hand side. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social, if there is anything further you need.
