A: Yes, you can use as a regular kitchen faucet. Will function the same and water flow is the same. The only difference is the distance from the center of faucet to center of the spray head is closer.
A: I have both the kitchen faucet and the bar faucet in my home and I don't see why the bar faucet wouldn't work just fine as a kitchen faucet for a smaller kitchen. The kitchen faucet extends 8" from the base of the faucet while the bar faucet only extends 6" out (that is to the center of the water flow) so it may need to be mounted very close to the edge of the sink in order that the water flow lands in the correct place in the sink. Water flow of the bar faucet is comparable to the kitchen faucet. The 14" height of the bar faucet fits comfortably under the cabinets in my wet bar area. Good Luck!
A: Yes. I’m using it in a basement sink, but believe it will work in a kitchen sink as well. The water flow and functionality are fine.
A: Yes, we purchased it for the prep sink on the island in our kitchen.
A: I used the faucet at the sink in our bar but believe it would work at your kitchen sink too. I have been very pleased with the faucet.
A: It can be used for any sink. It is just smaller in size and scale to be able to fit under wall cabinets for a bar area instead of the usual sink with a window in front of it where height is not an issue.
A: Thank you for your question, David501! You can absolutely use this unit for your kitchen sink. The flow rate and internal parts are the same as the model 9113-DST Kitchen Faucet. Best regards, Jon Phone: 1-800-345-3358 | Email: customerservice@deltafaucet.com | Facebook/Twitter: @deltafaucet
A: Sure. I put one in a bathroom, where I wash my paint brushes and such. Great faucet.
A: Absolutely, I didn’t like the looks of the taller faucet & this is just perfect. I’ve attached photo but excuse the mess in middle of remodel
A: Yes, everyone in our area who has a new kitchen has a bar faucet on the sink. We just got our remodeled kitchen in Sept. and we had this faucet from Home Depot installed. It was a whole new thing for us, even though we had used such faucets in other houses. We got used to it very quickly and now we would not want to go back. The water flow rate may be slightly lower than the old style faucet, but it's not seriously lower. The hose only reaches within the sink and will not reach out over the floor like the old hose in the counter. The "spray" flow is not much different from the "stream". The magnetic hose docking function works awesome. I'm very impressed with it. It looks fabulous in our new kitchen, and we really like it
A: No, this faucet does not come with a 3-hole plate cover.
A: Mine came with a hole plate cover but we did not use it so I am not sure if it was a 3 hole cover. Sorry I can't help you more. I do love the faucet.
A: Thank you for your inquiry, CV! The Delta Essa Bar/Prep Pull-Down 9913T-BL-DST faucet does not come with an escutcheon plate. However, it can be purchased separately, the part number is RP47274BL. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP47274BL Best regards, Tanya
A: Yes, you can turn the water on and off manually with the handle.
A: Yes it is easy. The instructions tell you how to do it. Basically you just hook it up without the touch unit. I had to bypass mine because particles in the water were making the solenoid malfunction.
A: Yes, just leave the batteries out, I would think.
A: Hi, JB! Thank you for your question. The touch feature can easily be bypassed on the Delta 9913T-AR-DST faucet. To do this, first turn the handle to the 'off' position. Remove both of the hoses from the top and bottom of the solenoid. Connect the two hoses together and secure this connection with one of the blue clips. Remove the solenoid and wires from the unit entirely. If you should need further assistance with this, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna
A: Hi Jsm, Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the faucet with the handle on the right. The handle of the Delta Essa Touch Pull-Down Bar/Prep 9913T-RB-DST faucet operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on and rotates forward to increase the temperature. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left, it will rotate backwards. Best regards, Tanya
A: Yes, the handle moves forward and straight up, you should be good.
A: It moves straight up for cold , forward for hot, left to right for speed of flow. Doesn't hit back splash (doesn't go back), on ours.
A: From the position shown (straight up) to 90 degrees forward. Will also move 45 degrees to the right. Will not hit your backsplash.
A: The handle moves side to side. Hope this helps
A: Hello lx287, Thank you for your question. The handle rotates forward from the upright position to adjust the temperature and tilts away from the faucet to adjust the volume. It does not rotate further backward. Best regards, Jon
A: the handle moves only forward I was not satisfied with this product or the company.when I purchase this the plumber had a hard time installing because there was a defect in the problem when I called delta home office they wanted me to take a picture of the defect and send it to them which was literally impossible. the faucet was made backwards!!! and the poor plumber spent 3 hours trying to install and I was out of pocket $300.00 Delta was very poor with customer support and I have a faucet on backwards that needs to be replaced!!! The handle only moves forward. I give this product a thumbs down and also Delta customer service a thumbs down!! The poor plumber tried installing the faucet for several hours before realizing that it was made backwards with the hot/cold facing backwards instead forward I called Delta customer and they gave me and the plumber a hard time. Needless to say we had thrown out the old faucet so the Delta faucet remains on backwards!!!
A: Only forward towards the sink(if installed properly), it will not be able to touch the backsplash. It pivots 90 degrees towards the sink in rotation to change temperature and about 45 degrees away from the faucet to increase intensity of the water flow.
A: It does not move backwards, it only moves left to right. We have a windowsill about an inch from the back of the faucet and it doesn’t touch the windowsill.
A: This seems to be a question that only Home Depot can answer. :)
A: Ray, thank you for your question! If this item is not in stock, a representative at the store can special order it for you. Best regards, Jon
A: Uses batteries, my first set lasted over a year!
A: No, it has a battery pack.Love this faucet.
A: Hello, Hobnob! Thank you for your question. The 9913T-AR-DST faucet is battery operated. This requires 6 AA batteries or 6 C batteries. There is an optional AC Adapter that is sold separately. The part number is EP73954. Here is a link to the part: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Delta-A-C-Power-Adapter-for-Touch-Faucets-EP73954/205816513 Best Regards, Rosanna
A: To use the touch feature you have to either use batteries or purchase an adapter.
A: No. It uses a battery
A: it is a brushed/satin finish, not a shiny polished look
A: Hi, HDshopper! Thank you for your question. The Arctic Stainless finish is 'Brushed' and is not polished. Best Regards, Rosanna
A: Mine had a brushed finish. It looks good. I eventually disconnected the touch control (not sure if this one has it). I had debris in my water from failing washers in the angle-stops and it made the tiny solenoid fail. I never hooked it up again 'cause I suspect that it might be problematic over time.
A: It’s closer to a satin finish. Very sleek design that coordinates quite well with all of the brushed nickel fixtures we have in the kitchen.
A: Brushed/satin. Definitely not polished.
A: Hello Mojo, Thank you for your question! We recommend a hole diameter of 1 1/4" to 1 1/2". You can find this and other measurements in the Technical Specifications: https://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/f9/f901e27f-6876-4eeb-9e7c-eb90586702ab.pdf Best regards, Jon
A: Hi Mojo! The faucet uses a single hole with a diameter of 1-1/4" to 1-1/2". If you already have 3 holes in your counter-top, you can use an escutcheon plate (ordered separately) to cover the other two holes. The manufacturer recommends Delta RP70714 for the escutcheon plate. Enjoy your new Delta faucet!
A: The faucet hole diameter is 2".
A: Dear AJ, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Essa Kitchen Touch2O Technology 9913T-BL-DST faucet, will stay on the spray feature until the button is pressed for stream feature mode. Best regards, Tanya
