A:  Hi Donna, these anchors are for use in drywall only. For hollow door applications, please use our E-Z Ancor Hollow Door & Drywall anchors.

A:  It is too close. You could use just 1 hole (the top one). However, don't load the rod to max rated weight. The rating is at the screw and at the wall, even then it highly likely overrated. The weight on the rod is much away from the wall.

A:  Hi, these anchors are for use in drywall only and will not work if there is spray foam insulation in the wall.

A:  I would not mount any door using an anchor in drywall. I would at least attach it to one or two studs more likely frame it out because of the movement of the door.

A:  Yes, they come with #8x1-1/4 and I used #8x1-1/2 and they worked the same.

A:  No. These are if you don’t hit a solid on the other side. If you hit cement, you will need concrete drill bit and screws.

A:  No, that is for drywall. You need cement anchors or a smaller droll bit then use cement screws..
