A: No, but it's an awesome saw. Very easy to handle and cuts great!
A: It has a plastic cover that goes over the bar and chain only.
A: No, my saw did not come with a case.
A: Yes
A: No case when I bought mine.
A: no it does not come with a case. but you can buy a case separate
A: The owner's manual only shows a 16" & 18" choice in Echo parts. However, Oregon shows a 20" Part# 37977 Combo chain and bar. It is the same gauge and pitch with 78 links. I was thinking about getting one but have not done so yet.
A: I Wouldn't Recommend it
A: yes But it will cut slower the biger bar will make the engine work harder
A: You can, however; this is meant to be a compact saw for branch cutting and small tree clearing. If you are wishing something bigger I would recommend just stepping up to the next size saw. This saw is very capable for its design but like everything has limitations.
A: Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. The CS-400 can be used with a 16" and 18" bar and chain.
A: No. Make sure you have the chain tension set correctly. The manual will explain. Chains stretch with use, especially when new, so you will have to take up the chain slack every so often.
A: Hi! Thank you for your inquiry. To further assist you with this inquiry, we would recommend to contact ECHO's Support Department with the model and serial number at, 1-800-432-ECHO (3246).

A: Yes

A: Yes. It’s a simple swap.
A: Hi! Thank you for your inquiry. The CS-400 only takes a 16" bar and a 18" bar. Any other bar that is not designed for the chainsaw model may overspeed the engine.

A: If by "blade" you are referring to the bar (the chain goes around it), yes. You will also need a new chain. If you don't know how to change them both, refer to your owner's manual or the Echo website. You should also check with your local Home Depot to see if they have classes in saw maintenance.
A: Yes however you must also change the bar as well to go with the chain.
A: Tes you must also change the bar to go with the chain size.
A: Yes you can
A: yes but the saw will not cut as fast
A: Hi Kim! Thank you for your inquiry. The CS-400 can accept a 16" or 18" bar and chain combination.
A: Hi STUART! The only parts that need to be assembled on the ECHO Chainsaws is the bar and chain.
A: The only assembly required is putting the bar and chain on, which is something you need to be able to do. Instructions are included and it is easy.
A: No it's already built
A: that is not funny, any saw will cut your toe your foot our your leg off. chainsaw are to be used with respect
A: I can't tell you. I'm in Florida. Bought mine in Texarkana while there. Checked my local store, they have it. Call them. If not order from Home Depot Web Site.
A: Perhaps you should contact that store and ask. I have no idea where the Bay City store is, much less what their product lines are.
A: Most hardware stores, Home Depot and others sell washers. You do not need a special one, just one that fits. The nut might be special, but not a washer.
A: You can find all parts and accessories on echo.com.
