A:  If you have your receipt, take it and the battery to the store where you purchased the chainsaw. They will be able to help you. If you registered the purchase with Echo, you could also check there. Typically, battery warranties are 90 days. So you need to check both where you purchased and with Echo.

A:  I suggest you unplug the charger from outlet and take to closest Home Depot. Ask the people at the return desk for help as it seems to be stuck. Ask them to verify the contacts are undamaged while you are there. Once home, use a dry microcloth to dust the inside of the charger, checking the contacts on both the charger and the battery. A clean, dry, soft tooth brush is good to use on the contacts, removing any tiny debris.

A:  It seems poorly designed though the tool and battery work fine. I too had difficulty removing the battery. Brute force is necessary. Push the button all the way in, hold the charging station down securely and pull until the battery releases.

A:  Pull it out and let it sit a minute and it should reboot once you sit it back in the charging station. I've had that happen before and that did the trick

A:  I’m having the same problem. I assume the charger or battery is defective because I get a solid green light when the battery is removed. When I push it in properly I get the red flashing light

A:  I own this same unit and have the same issue. I also deal with intermittent operation with a full battery. Very disappointed in this product. I own several Echo products but this must just be a lemon.

A:  Yes. I use both the 2ah and 4ah on my blower, trimmer and chainsaw. I obviously prefer the 4ah because it has a longer run time.

A:  You should hear a snap when you insert your battery in the charger, as well as the mower. If you are having problems with your battery recharging, it may be because it is too hot. Allow it to cool before charging.
