Answer This Question
A: I would assume per piece, because the two pack of braces also states 1,000 lbs. I know this is a year late, but maybe it will help someone else.

Q:Your add says made of 12 gauge steel, but the box you show a picture of says 14 gauge. I ordered a set thinking they were made of 12 gauge steel, are they?

Answer This Question
A: The Elevators are made of 12 gauge steel. If the box said 14 gauge, it was a misprint. Inspection of our current inventory shows that current packaging reflects the correct gauge.

A: Just lag bolts. Built 3 deer blinds with them. Work great.

A: There are a number of options available for fastening brackets to to lumber. One could use lag screws, decking screws or appropriate length carriage bolts. Nails can even be driven through the holes in the brackets.

A: The fasteners that I used were 5/16 x 2 1/2 of bed head lag bolts and they worked great. Started with what I had available, 2" deck screws, and it was abvious during the build they needed to be replaced. Now much sturdier. Also be sure to use long enough bolts to get good retention. I hope this answers your question and good luck!
