A: Milwaukee tool bought Empire level in 2014.
A: This level works great with any square post.
A: Yes! I have used this device on many occasions to set posts for multiple uses. I highly recommend this device for setting post. Just be sure to remove the device when you complete setting the post or it will be lost. Plus, other team members will be very interested in getting one, perhaps yours!
A: Yes. We used this exclusively for installing 96 fence posts around my garden. It was way better than shifting a spirit level between the two plumb dimmensions vertically. Definitely worth it.
A: Yes, as long as it is not round.
A: Yes, it will show level and plum in multiple directions.
A: Mine did
A: Yes, but it is very weak.
A: Yes, it does come with a rubber band.
A: Yes it does. It’s a good, sturdy post level.
A: Yes, it comes with a rubber band. I bought this a few years ago when I was putting up my fence. So much easier than using a standard level. I bought three and used them to check a few posts at a time.
A: Yes, there are ways to attach with a screw but there is a rubber band that will be better used and comes with it. it is not pictured
A: The rubber band will be strong enough to hold it steady.
A: There is definitely a hole to screw it But they also include a rubber band- it’ll attach to one side and swing around the post/pole/pie and it has a thick lip To catch the other end to firmly hold in place
A: Yes, you can possibly attach with a screw although I found a tight rubber band to be very effective and could move from post to post quickly.
A: No it’s for leveling, If the post is in ground with no cement cut the rotted out, I used two Simpson strong ties (fp8844)EZ Base. Dig around post in the ground slide base over it and screw in the four will be on top put theon the other post and bolt them together. It works great but it cost a bit .
A: Sure, just secure it to the pole with a small bungee cord or rubber band.
A: yes, It works on angled posts and round poles, on rounded pole you have the added ability to rotate the level around the pole for added ease of leveling in east south north and west .
A: Yes works great on a round pole also.
A: This is angle corner measurement tool. if you work on round you need something to stop it swift around
A: Yes. I used it to true up my flagpole. Works great. I used the rubber band it came with.
A: I also lost the rubberband. I used a string to hold it on the posts
A: Office supply stores usually have a variety of rubber bands. If their bands are too long, just tie a knot in the end to shorten it. Another suggestion may be to use two sided Velcro. A drop of super glue should affix the Velcro to the level so there will be no worry about it falling off and still allow for quick changes from one post to the next.
A: call the Company for rubber band parts
A: Yes get the wife hair bands they work great .
A: I just used regular rubber bands I got at Office Max .
A: Yes, it will work on metal posts. You will have to pay attention to the orientation of the horizontal levels, Worked great for me on 28 + posts my son & I put in a few years ago.
A: yes I use a rubber band or small bungie to hold it in place.
A: The level attaches by rubber band. So, as long as you can secure it, you should be able to use it.
A: Only if you use the elastic bands as it does not come with magnets even though the picture shows them.
A: The post material shouldn't make a difference, but the shape of the post does matter a little. It's very simple to use on square posts - but a little trickier on round posts, but it is possible. I would still recommend it for round posts, but perhaps double check it with a regular level before the post is permanently installed.
A: You could use it for T posts but my experience with it found that it did not give a true level.
A: I believe it will work as long as you secure it to the t-post using rubber bands or other elastic. Also, when you say t-post I imagine that you have two 90 degree, inverted corners running up and down the post. If my assumption is correct, maybe you can stick a square block of wood into one of the corners of the t-post and then place the inside corner of the level right up against the corner of wood. And once again, secure with rubber bands. I hope this explanation makes sense.
A: Yes it will work on most any post
A: I don't think so if the T-Post is too small for the level to fit snugly enough to keep it secure so it doesn't move. It works great on posts that allow it to fit snugly without moving.
A: Designed for use with a wooden post, if it may be securely attached to the metal post, then, perhaps, yes, it would work.
A: It works with the square or rectangular posts. You can tie with the rubberbands
A: Yes. As long as the post has a square edge, it should work fine.
A: It should work fine.
A: Is that a real question? It will work on any post you can attach it too. Just use the rubber bands and if that doesn’t work you can always nail it.
A: Yes, this level will work on a post that is 5.25 x 3.0 inches.
