A:  Thank you for contacting Fiskars. We would not recommend cutting through vinyl lattice, it will not make a clean cut.

A:  Mine came with a thin clear plastic sleeve that slides on over the teeth. I think it was just for packaging but I have kept it and use it to protect the teeth and users as well so they don't get accidentally cut.

A:  Mine did not come with any type of cover. I fashioned one out of cardboard, but I was disappointed it did not. Fiskars is a quality brand and one should be included.

A:  Yes there is a thin plastic piece/sheath that slides over the edge with teeth

A:  I have both. This one handles larger cuts and gives me better reach.

A:  No. The saw only costs $19.99 and should last a long time if you don't abuse it. At that price, it's not worth sharpening. Buy a new saw.

A:  Thank you for contacting Fiskars. There is no replacement blade for this model. We recommend checking with your local hardware store to see if they offer a sharpening service. The blade can also be sharpened at home, using a diamond file, or sharpening rod.
