A:  Yes, the PVC pipe can be cut into smaller sections.

A:  yes its sch 40 pvc which is the same as the white you buy at the store. You can buy pvc cutters from Home Depot that make it much easier

A:  Yes. You can cut this pipe in a number of ways. You can use a hacksaw, a plastic pipe cutter, or if you have a lot of cuts, you can use a power miter saw with the pipe clamped down securely.

A:  Yes you can use pvc cutters or a chop saw for cleaner cuts.

A:  Yes, I used a chop saw. You can cut it with a hacksaw, or a special tool designed for cutting PVC

A:  Yes. FORMUFIT PVC products are about 5x more impact resistant than plumbing grade PVC. Since it is UV resistant, it does not break down like standard PVC in sunlight.

A:  Impact Strength and UV resistance are present in Furniture Grade PVC. It can withstand a larger blow without splintering and is about 5x stronger than plumbing grade thanks to the added UV inhibitors, for the life of the product.
