A: No. This is not tape in that sense, it can't attach anything. Think of it more as insulation with a sticky side to keep it in place.

Q:How do you get off the gluey residue from frost king vinyl foam weatherseal self stick tape once you take it off your windows?.

Answer This Question
A: There are a couple of ways to remove residue from windows, depending on the finish on the window frame itself. if it's a vinyl frame window, usually a little Acetone diluted 50% with water appliled with a damp cloth will loosen the residue and it can be rubbed off. If your window is Painted or has a stained finish, apply ice to the residue for 10-20 seconds and then you can rub off lightly with your fingers. Using ice in this way helps perserve the finish to the window. there are a couple of product made specifically for removing tape residue-"Goof-Off" and Goo-Gone". they work very well. Caution though, test an area on the window frame first that is not visible to make sure it will not harm the finish on your window.
