A: Thank you. It sounds like there is a pressure issue between the tub spout and the rough in valve body that can be caused by a few things. In the instructions it states that the distance must be at least 8 inches from the valve body to the tub spout and that Pex pipe should not be used for that line because that can cause the issues that you are describing. It could also be that the diverter valve is defective. we suggest you contact the Home Depot Customer Service Department at 1-855-434-5224 and they can assist you with troubleshooting as well as getting any parts you may need under the unit's Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Q:How do I keep it secure to the tub/shower wall? My other valve body had the flange screw to it through the holes in the fiberglass shower wall, the flange with this product just slides on - nothing to connect or adhere to.

A: Thank you. With this valve body, we recommend using a 2 x 4 attached to the studs and then use pipe straps to anchor the lines and valve.
