    A:  You should not have any issue with a standard weathervane. I replaced a cupola on my father's house with the new Manchester. The weathervane (an eagle with the arrow and directions is from the original weathervane installed 57 years ago) it fit perfectly into the cupola mounts provided. The mounts allow you to raise or lower the central support pole of the weathervane to the proper height.

    A:  The height of the cupola is measured from the base when sitting on a flat surface to the top of the roof. The width is measured at the roofline.
