Therefore, removing the center piece would mean cutting parts of the metallic frame, which will compromise the structural integrity of the table. We highly advise against it as it may waive warranty. A:  We had one break while we were putting the table together and we called customer service. They sent a few replacement tiles. Also, they seem to be standard size and may be able to find similar ones at a tile place.

Please note that steel frames are susceptible to rust since carbon steel is not entirely rust-resistant, which is why they are powder coated for rust-resistance. When the powder coating wears off or if any sort of moisture affects the carbon steel itself, it will result in rust. That is why we highly recommend the use of waterproof covers or storing the product when inclement weather is approaching to prevent rust or any form of corrosion. If the powder-coating wears off, it can become prone to rust; we suggest using rust-resistant paint or coating to further preserve the set.
