Answer This Question
A: You would need a CO detector and have window a/o door cracked open. Check codes and your home insurance for liabilities. The fire itself at low would well heat any garage. I would sit it on 4-6 large step stones if your floor is anything other than unpainted concrete, The flame looks more realistic after several uses when the rocks get a bit darkened.

A: The fire pit has been CSA Approved to be used as a heating/decorative appliance. Our product hasnot been tested or CSA Approved to be used as a cooking appliance, therefore we cannot advise the use of our propane appliances to be used as such.

A: You would be better off with a $50 Weber mini barbecue i.e. controllable heat with moderate flames and cooking rack and cover for high temp e.g. steak

Q:do you think it will fit into a chiminea?

Answer This Question
A: I doubt it unless an unusually large chiminea
by|Oct 21, 2018
A: Hi joe,
Thanks for visiting our site!
It really depends on the size and construction of the chiminea. If it opens up to allow access to place the Firepit inside, it would be like placing gas logs in a fireplace.
If the chiminea lacks access to the belly, it could be like a 'ship in a bottle' to get it inside.
The gas line to supply the Gas Fire pit could also become prohibitive. You should never alter or cut into a chiminea. Drilling a hole in the chiminea is not recommended.
Thank you for asking,
-Travis
