A:  Hello, On the remote there are dip switches located in the battery compartment. If you have an older model you may also have the dip switches on the receiver. These must match the remote for the fan to function. THX

A:  Hello, This fan doesn't use a traditional light bulb that can changed out. This uses a LED module that is soft white 3500 Kelvin at its brightest. It is dimmable but will not be as bright as the 5000 Kelvin daylight you are wanting. THX
