A:  No, but that?s not the last word. Check plumbing first, then buy drain pans to put under your washer and dishwasher to protect from any mishaps. It?s splash proof but make sure all the planks are clicked tight. I?ve had it down for a few years now

A:  No, it is not. Ours is throughout the house except for kitchen, bath and laundry. Hurricane Sally blew water into our hallway and we had to replace a section of the flooring. We love this flooring and still looks good after 10 years.

A:  I don't believe it is. It tells you not to clean with water. I believe it would warp the bamboo.

A:  That you for your question. The Strand Woven Harvest is not a waterproof product. Please consult the Use and Care manual, found on the Strand Woven Harvest's Homedepot.com product page, for guidelines on how to care for and protect your floor.

A:  No it is veneer. If you want solid bamboo you will need to buy the 5/8 thick material.

A:  The core is wood, I don't know what kind but I dont think its bamboo, al though it may be, just a lower grade, its liket plywood

A:  Thank you for your question. The Horizontal Toast is an engineered click bamboo floor with an high density fiberboard (HDF) core.

A:  Thank you for your question. For lightly soiled areas, distilled water should be used as a cleaning solution. Home Legend does not endorse any store bought cleaning solution for use on the Horizontal Toast. If you choose to use a store bought solution, we advise that you test the solution on a scrap piece or inconspicuous area, such as a corner or closet, before applying the product to the entirety of the floor.

A:  I use a steamer with distilled water only using the lowest steam setting. I don't know if the manufacturer approves of this method. I've had this flooring installed for about 18 months and it still looks like new.

A:  That would probably be fine. This is excellent flooring. It's not only beautiful but it's very durable. We have this installed in one of the bathrooms in the house that sits right above the furnace room. The heat coming up to the floor doesn't make it separate or bow or anything else and we are very pleased with the product.
