It runs between 6.4 to 16 hours on a single tank, depending on the load. This makes it great for overnight power. Honda does not recommend a propane conversion kit because adding it would be an emissions violation. Also, adding a propane conversion kit to a generator would void the warranty on the generator's engine, due to the modification to the fuel system.

A:  Hi Jake, Using a generator in wet conditions such as in rain or snow, near a pool or sprinkler, or with wet hands could result in electrocution. Keep the generator dry. However, running the generator under a covered roof or awning without walls with plenty of airflow around the generator would be fine.

A:  Hi Tom, You should never transport a generator on its side for any reason.

A:  Hi Steve, Honda recommends using SAE 10W-30 oil with API service category SJ or later. Honda equipment is certified and designed to run on regular unleaded gasoline.
