A: Shouldn't be a problem to use a wood burning tool on it. The wood is soft so some care should be taken to get good results. Not sure what a pyrography tool is.....

A: Yes, box is sturdy, in a sense that kids will have a hard time breaking it. I have assembled several, some with the nails in the kit and some with a power nailer, but I always put wood glue on all the seams. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it about an 8. Kids love them for toting their stuff (not necessarily only tools) around. Add some decorations and a name after you paint.

A: Probably a 5. You can reinforce it with extra screws to bring it up to a 9.

A: Weight testing has not been performed on this product but if you build it according to the instructions it should be plenty sturdy for normal use. Alternatively this product can be used as a more decorative box to hold plants or other decorations.
