Answer This Question
A: Norbert , the 54 piece set does not come with a storage case. For the 52 piece set, I believe you are referring to Model #H52MTS2D. This set does include a case. We also offer a 70 piece 3/8 drive set with a case
Model #H70MTS3D

A: You should be able to replace the broken sockets only. If your store does not carry them call HD to arrange for a replacement

A: Jesse, Your local Home Depot should stock most of the parts of this set for quick warranty replacement. All you need to do is return the broken items to the store for replacment. You can also call our customer service team at 1-888-HD-HUSKY (option 2) and we will work with you to get the replacement parts sent out to you.

A: they will probably have you mail them to husky for replacement

Q:I know impact wrench drivers need impact sockets, but can I use these sockets if I just use my standard 1/4" impact driver? thx

Answer This Question
A: Yes, as long as you have the extension bit to connect the socket. That's what I use with my impact.
by|Mar 15, 2022
A: KQLE, these bit sockets are not designed to be used with an impact driver. An impact driver, even a 1/4 inch driver with an adapter, can cause the bits to shatter.

A: It looks like the reviews somehow got compiled for all socket sets instead of for this Bit Socket set. We are looking into the issue. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, and sorry for any confusion this might have caused.

Q:I can’t get my sockets (yes, 3/8) fitted onto this wrench. The ball or spring setup doesn’t seem to have enough give to fit them on. I’ve tried two different sets of sockets. Anyone else have this problem?

A: There's a button on the back that has to be depressed first. My 3/8 th sockets go right on
by|Jan 14, 2021
A: Hey Sandy,
There should be a button on the back of the ratchet head that releases the ball. If that is not working please either bring it back to the store or call Husky Customer Care at 1-888-HD-HUSKY (1-888-434-8759) and we will gladly get you another.
Thanks!

A: A few times a new ratchet is stiff on ball release. I would have to push on the button on the back and verify the ball is released to allow the socket to fully mount. Releasing the button locks the socket on nicely. I personally have 2 ratchets in my tool box and we have purchased around 6 more for production use.
It might need a little penetrating oil to help it move. If that doesn't work, take it back to the store and they will replace it free of charge. I like the warranty it has as well.

A: No these sockets are not magnetic
by|Nov 15, 2020
A: The ones I bought are not magnetic, they are in a black molded case, hopefully this helps you
by|Nov 12, 2020
A: sorry no they are not. if you need a magnetic socket or screw driver, you can magnetize them by placing them on a magnet like an old speaker or pick up magnet or even a cows magnet. that will magnetize it for a short time maybe long enough to do your task.
by|Nov 10, 2020
A: No, they are not.

A: Not sure what you mean but the bits are tight in the socket. If you have a vise to lock the socket in then you could use a pounch from the back side and tap it out.
