Q:I own a Half Acre Lot about 10 feet south of the North property line is my 3/4" water meter I wanted to install a descaling device right after the 1.5" Galvanized water pipe leaves the Meter which unit do I need to place here and under ground if possible?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Alexander,
This system has a 50 foot effective range, so it will work best within 50 feet of the installation of the system. Also the system is NOT recommended to be installed on Galvanized steel pipes. The system will have trouble emitting the current through this type of piping.

A: Hi Kerry,
This system only prevents scale but does not remove previous buildup of scale. If you would like this we would recommend the WDS150K or WDS80K systems.

Q:how does it work

Answer This Question
A: Hi Dock,
The electronic descaler works by emitting a current into the water to positively charge the molecules for heavy metals and hard water minerals, preventing the molecules from bonding with the pipes or appliances.
