A: Place each hand about shoulder width apart and have someone turn on the water. First hand to feel temperature difference is the incoming direction.

A: Hi Bryan,
You will have to determine which water flow direction is in the pipe and wrap the wires based on the flow from left to right or right to left. Please call the office at 678-801-9308 if you have any questions.

Answer This Question
A: Hi Troma,
This product is a salt free alternative to a softener system. You could use it with the softener system but normally customers use this system as an alternative to the softener. The ED2000 does not soften the water but prevents the scale from the hard water.

Q:So if I have pipes that run over 50 ft. I will need two units. Should these units be installed back to back (right next to each other) or one before the water heater and one after (either immediately or more down the line)?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Zaul,
Each unit has a 50 Foot effective range from where it is installed, so I would recommend to space the systems apart at least 50 feet, to extend the treatment range of the systems.

A: Hi Sara,
The system has a 50 foot effective range, meaning the system is going to work best within 50 feet of where it was installed. Please contact the office at 678-261-7611 .

A: 50 feet of pipe length from the ED2000 unit to the fixture or appliance you wish to protect. On average, an appliance with a tank will add 4-6 feet to this length.
