Q:There's white powder that comes out of the ice maker and on stays on the bottom of the ice bucket. Will this stop that? I dilute my dish soap and it currently has a white cloudy film on the bottom of the bottle. Will that stop that from forming? Will it help prevent white film on glass shower doors and white stains on chrome fixtures? Thank you for your help with these questions.

Answer This Question

A:  I am not an expert but from what I am reading about the descalers, they do not remove minerals from water, they just prevent them from clinging to pipes, faucets, etc. With other brands I have read that it turns the mineral into a fine powder that is sent out of the faucet. I would imagine the electronic descalers work in the same way. Perhaps someone from ISpring could confirm whether this actually removes the minerals or just prevent scaling/clinging.
