A:  The size of the wooden section of the door on the bottom is 22" high and the screen area is 53" high and 30.5" wide.

    A:  Bottom panel is 22” high, including wood trim. Screen area is 53” high and 301/2” wide including the narrow trim screen sits inside of. Because we live in an area which experiences cold winters, we ordered the storm window insert, as well. We sanded and sealed with a turpentine/linseed oil mixture, with a few drops of stain, added trim, and love the look. Hopefully the entire photo shows below.

          A:  It's unfinished softwood, so it will need varnish or paint to be reasonably weatherproof (I used paint). Stain alone won't do the trick. It colors the wood, but doesn't protect it very much.

            A:  Nope... this comes with fiberglass screen... Unfortunately, this door joint came off after couple of days of installing and staining... Just FYI...
