A: I can see no reason why you couldn't ....it is a normal, slide-in electric range.
by|Feb 9, 2020
A: I am not an expert but after calling Kitchenaid, and not getting a straight answer as to the depth of the range, I don't believe you would want to use this on an island as there are not extended lips to overlap on the countertop. You would essentially, as I see it because the range has not been delivered yet, see the gap between the countertop and the range since all sides are finished sides; no lip.

Q:I would like to replace my exiting freestanding range with a slide in. Does the slide in fit flush to the wall? My freestanding without handles is 25 3/8” (27 3/4” with handle) but is sitting 1” from wall so that front is flush to cabinets. This product has depth of 28.88”.

Answer This Question
A: It sits flush to the wall in the back. The depth is still more than my cabinets and it sticks out a couple of inches further than my cabinets.
