A:  It doesn't come magnetized but if you have one of the magnetic/demagnetize it will become magnetize. It did with mine and turned out great, holds screws no problem

A:  I don't know for sure if they are magnetized, but the user can use a $4.00 magnetizing cube sold at Home Depot to effective magnetize and de-magnetize the screwdriver tips.
