A:  Good Question! There are no tools required for cleaning this fan because the grills are secured with grill clamps. Simply lift the clamps up to release the front grill. Once the blade is exposed, wipe the blade with a damp cloth. Finally, we recommend using compressed air to clear dirt and/or dust from the motor.

A:  Standard #2 Philips and a pair of pliers to hold the nut. There is only the one screw, the rest are just latches.

A:  What is shown in the picture is the hard wired speed control. There is no remote included with this fan.

A:  no remote control for this particular one. When I was doing research, there is one very similar model that has remote. They look the same. I don't need it; therefore, I ordered this model instead.

A:  No, I have this fan as a floor fan & was just looking at it, to poss buy a 2nd 1 for a wall fan. It has alot of power & puts out alot of air. But, that little unit on the front of it is NOT a remote. It's just the normal on/off & power level controls; that are normally on the bk of a fan. It was a smart idea to put it on the front instead. Regardless, it's a GREAT fan. So much better than their plastic fans, in my opinion. But, unless they've made added a remote since I bought mine, about a yr ago, then no, No Remote. I would have bought another 1 rt now, if it did have a remote. But, I would be unable to reach it where it would hang on the wall, to do it by hand.
