Questions and Answers for Lockly Model-S Satin Nickel Single-Cylinder Deadbolt Smart Lock with Hack-proof Touchsreen Keypad and Mobile App Control

A:  In the Lockly app, select your lock > settings > Access code > enter a new access code > confirm (re-enter) your new access code > click the confirm button.

A:  Our locks use a 6-pin (Deadbolt) and 5-pin (Latch) cylinder which can be replaced with existing brands of rekeying kits available on the market. You can also hire a professional locksmith to rekey your lock. Rekeying your locks will not void the warranty.

A:  You do not need a Wi-Fi hub in order to use the Pin code to access the lock. The Model-S operates on a Bluetooth signal by default, however, what the Wi-Fi hub does is increase the range beyond that of Bluetooth and expand it to anywhere with a strong Wi-Fi signal.

A:  You can make a copy of your physical key at any hardware store or key-making kiosk. Lockly uses a Schlage style key. For Latch, you can use a SC1 key blank and for Deadbolt, you can use a SC4 key blank.

A:  You will need to purchase the Secure Link Wi-Fi hub (sold separately) which enables Amazon Alexa and Google Home integration as well as remote access of the lock.

A:  Our locks will accommodate most standard US doors between 1-3/8"-2" (35mm-50mm) thick and a borehole that is 2-1/8"(54mm). The backset must also be between 2-3/8" (60mm) to 2-3/4" (70mm) and the hole in the door edge must be 1" (25mm). A:  Not sure if this will help but it works just like a dead bolt. So if you can install a deadbolt on your security door than this will work.

A:  You can change the settings of Auto-Lock Timer on the Lockly app. Please go in your Lockly App > Click on Settings at the bottom toolbar > Click on Auto-Lock Timer and adjust the setting to your preference.

A:  The Lockly Secure and S models can be used via Bluetooth when near the lock. Bluetooth range is about 15-30 feet depending on walls and obstructions. You will need to purchase the WiFi Hub to have the ability to access the lock remotely from any location.
