Loctite PL Concrete Non-Sag Polyurethane Sealant is designed to seal interior/exterior gaps and joints in concrete and masonry and may or may not work for the application described depending on the size of the leak and the composition of the water pipe. As to whether it can stop your leak will depend upon the nature of the leak, its origin, and what the root cause may be. There are no guarantees for this intended use and the sealant may only provide a temporary fix and not completely resolve the situation. The maximum recommended depth this product should be used in is ⅜ inch (10 mm) and the minimum is ¼” (6 mm). The maximum recommended joint width is 1.5 inches (38 mm). For deep joints, the sealant depth must be controlled by closed-cell backer rod or expansion joint filler.
