Q:Why does this force me to use "Express Delivery" which requires a zipcode to be shipped from the store. There is no store in my state or any state around me that carries this item(OR, CA, NV, AZ, WA, ID). So am i forced to buy this item from another store other than Home Depot?

A: Order it online and then have it delivered to the nearest store, where you walk in and pick it up.
I order like that a lot if the item I am looking for is not stocked in the store.

A: That is what I want too. Not just the bare tool. Wondering when Home Depot will have the kit available.

A: That model # doesn't bring anything up in this Home Depot search. The only thing available from Home Depot is the saw only without batteries or charger which is strange.

A: I know there is a kit available from Makita. I meant does Home Depot have the kit? Apparently not, because when you put Makita xsr01pt in Home depot search it comes up with nothing.

A: 110/120v only according to the box. They make a 220v though I've only seen it on British or Australian Makita websites and vendors. Batteries and tools are the same internationally, but chargers change based on household voltage.

A: mine states 120 volt 50/60 cycle.
with a step down transformer this should work fine.
if yours states only 60 cycles then no.
As Europe uses 50 cycle it will confuse the electronics and you will never get a full charge
eventually ruining the battery.
