A:  Yes, this can be used for outdoor open-area patios.

A:  We used this tile for (3) single family residence rental units - looks great & receives many compliments. Installed in all bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways. We did not use in any exterior areas. The tile does have a matte finish with some texture and has not proven to be slippery when wet - of course exterior use will be subject to more moisture. Tile specs indicate that the slip resistance meets requirements for use on level interior or exterior floors expected to be walked upon when wet.

A:  I don't see why not. We LOVE this tile. It is really durable and does not ever look "dirty".

A:  Yes, it is great on the floor that gets mopped and spills and pets. I would let them know that it is going on the wall of shower to insure the proper adhesive. We have fairly light colored grout and it darkest when wet, so you might want to just start with a darker grout. It would look amazing.

A:  porcelain is a great choice for shower walls as porcelain isn't porous. Just make sure you use a leveling system so all tiles are even and seal your grout with a superior quality sealer.

A:  This is a floor tile. But you can use it on the wall if that's what you like. Has an anti slippery surface. The only concern is that since it has lots of grooves, it will be a little harder to clean.
