A: Hi Scaredycat, All of the photo content that we currently have available for our Berkeley Blue can be found on the product page. If you navigate over to the left-hand side where it shows four pictures and click on one of the thumbnails, it will bring up all of our available content. Currently, we have one room scene available for Berkeley Blue. Our Berkeley Blue is available in one other color; Charcoal Brown https://thd.co/2C7r2kn. In this color, we have photo content available that depicts its use as a bathroom floor. While this isn’t the color choice you’re looking for, it might help give a better idea of what the pattern will look like when it’s laid on a bathroom floor. If you would like to determine if these tiles are right for you, we offer samples! Please be aware that samples come adhered to 4.5”x5” sample cards which offer a color and texture sample, not a look at the whole pattern. To be able to see the whole pattern, we recommend ordering one case. Please note that variation in color, shade and texture are inherent characteristics of glazed tile. The pattern, shape, dye lot (color) and size of the actual tile received may vary. Home Depot offers a 90-day return policy on all unused items returned in the full quantity they were sold (in this situation, a case). If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800)-963-7652. Hope this helps!
A: I'm using it for a 1920s bath and it will have a clawfoot tub installed, the underside of which will be a color-matched blue. It's gorgeous and very heavy, high quality tile. Has a real vintage, printed-on, kind of finish if that is what you are going for.. I've posted a picture of the progress of my rehab so far. It was just what was needed for an otherwise pretty standard white-on-white bath. Great for a small bath; might be too overpowering for a large one, though.
A: Yes, we just installed this tile in a small bathroom at our house at the shore. It looks beautiful! We haven’t finished remodeling the bathroom yet but have attached a picture of the floor.
A: Yes! We lOVE our bathroom floor in this tile.
A: Both
A: I used this tile in an exterior screened front entry. There is a roof over it, however when it rains, it does get wet. As with all tile there is a slippery when wet, but no more than any other tile. It is porcelain. The surface is not slick. I have not had a problem. I have received so many compliments on it. It is beautiful.
A: Hi Nav, Yes, our Berkeley Charcoal Brown would be a great choice for a bathroom! This tile has a DCOF (Dynamic Coefficient of Friction) rating of 0.59, which classifies this as slip resistant. To be classified as slip resistant for DCOF, a tile must meet or exceed the required rating of 0.42. This tile also has a PEI rating of 4, which is more than enough to be used on a shower floor. A: Hi Vlwb, Our Berkeley Charcoal Brown has off-white tones in it, not true white. Computer monitors have a tendency to portray colors either too warm or too cool in terms of tone. This makes judging whether the tile will suit your needs a bit more difficult. If you would like to determine if this tile is right for you, we offer samples! A: Cream but sometimes looks white we put with white cabinets
A: More cream, and they are brown..
A: It’s a soft white. Not bright white. Looks nice with our white bead board and trim. The tile is fabulous!
A: Definitely an off white on the cream side. A biscuit color grout comes close.
A: Hi Tggrrss, While we always recommend using a wet saw for the best results, you could use a manual tile cutter to cut Berkeley Blue. The wet saw offers the best cut with the least chance of breakage. By using a manual tile cutter, such as a score and snap, you run a higher risk of cracking or breakage. If you choose to go down the route of a wet saw, we would also recommend using the wet saw with a new diamond tipped blade. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (800)-963-7652. Hope this helps!
A: They are quite large for a manual tile cutter but if you have the skill set then yes. It is ceramic so not as hard as say Porcelain.
A: I don't t think a manual cutter would work well. This is a large, thick, heavy tile with deep groves that make it look like it's 4 tiles. But this tile is a wonderful choice. I put it in 2 bathrooms ,and it's wonderful !
A: Yes, our installer used a manual tile cutter.
A: I recently installed this tile. I did not use a manual cutter. I used a wet tile saw for the majority of cuts, but also used tile snips to form the curve to tile around the toilet. Using these tools, I had no issues or undesirable results from cutting. This tile seemed to “behave” like any other ceramic tile. Not knowing the size, scope or application of your project, it’s hard to say if a manual tile cutter will work. Given the cost per tile, I just advise you to use caution and perhaps do some test cuts to make sure it’ll work the way you want.

A: Hi Ash, Yes, even though the spacing is quite small, the grout will hold in the spaces. We've sold many of these scored-line tiles over the past few years and haven't yet heard of any issues with grout cracking or coming out of them. Provided that the grout is fully pressed into the grooves with the grout float, the color of the grooves will be covered and it should not crumble out of them. Hope that helps!
A: Yes, I didn’t want the terra cotta grout and so we did grey grout between and in the grout lines and it’s held up well.
A: Good morning, Yes, this tile may be used for countertops. It has a high PEI rating of 4 (resistance to wear and scratches) and is made of durable ceramic material. Hope that helps!
A: Hi Sarah, It depends on what colors are in the rest of the room! You can choose a beige color, which would work well with warmer decors. You could also choose something like a platinum or grey color, which leans cooler. I would suggest taking a sample or piece of this tile to your local Home Depot, where they have dried grout samples that you can look at next to the tile colors, and perhaps other things like paint colors or other elements of the room it'll be installed in. Hope that helps!
A: I don't know about a dark grout. I used a bright white grout and love it.
A: No, the tile is not recommended for use on shower floors.
A: Not sure if wet it will be slippery
A: This is way too large of a format to use as a shower floor, I believe. Since shower floors are graded, it could crack if you used it there. On a regular bathroom floor it would look lovely.
