A: Hi Parker! Our 150 ft. Laser Distance Meter (48-22-9802) doesn't have an option to change the increments/rounding. Everything you can affect is in the units settings.

Answer This Question
A: Yes it most certainly works outside. But on very sunny days, it can be very difficult to see where your laser is hitting. It also can take quie some time (like around 10 seconds) for it to acquite length of a distance. I've used this laser at least 100 times outside - as I'm an appraiser. So it definitely works outside, but it is much slower to acquite distances than on older less sophisticated Dewalt laser measurer I used to use.

A: It works better indoors, I used a few times outdoor but on a sunny day you can't see the beam laser so you dont know what is your point to measure. It works on really short distances.

Answer This Question
A: If you don't touch any of the buttons for about 10 minutes or so it will automatically turn off.
by|Feb 12, 2020
A: I haven't had that experience it stays on for the most part until you turn it off. It works pretty good just remember to include the complete distance number. Example: 12' 8/32 inches it's easy to mistakenly see 12' leaving off the 8/32nd part because the number are much smaller than the inch number.
