A:  it should say it on the box but save your time and DON'T BUY it. it looks great but eats up battery in 5 min. and if you add any pressure to buff out a small scratch it shuts off

A:  Are you talking about the arbor that the backing pad screws onto? It's 5/8". The buffing pad is hook and loop, sticking to the backing pad.

A:  The unit has a 5/8"-11 spindle. A backing pad is included with it.
