    Answer This Question

A:  Hello, At minimum two air samples must be taken. An outdoor as your control sample and an indoor air samples. Only one control sample is needed per sample set, therefore for two indoor air samples you'd still only need one outdoor air sample. This would be three samples in total at $35.00 each would be the $105. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional or detailed questions. Thank you!

Q:Does the test tell me what kind of mold I may have.

      Answer This Question

A:  Yes! The lab report will identify the types of molds present down to a Genus level. Each mold type will be individually quantified and compared to the outdoor and if an elevated (higher than normal) mold condition exists, the report will highlight specifically which mold types are of concern. The report is color-coded, easy-to-read, and comes with conclusions and recommendations.

Q:Question 1. Can you review my calculations below for how much the lab fees would be for these (# of rooms) kits? 2 room - Lab costs: $140 3 room - Lab costs: $280 5 room - Lab Cost: $420 Question 2: Also, do you have to send all samplings that come with the kit in at one time? Or can use (ie) 1/2 of the air samples and of the surface samples and mail those in, and then later on do the rest of the samplings and mail those in at a later time? Question 3: Is there an expiration date on a. The lab costs you pay when you buy or sign up to send sample(s) b. The kit itself, do the sampling dishes expire (and can no longer be used) after a specific period of time?

        Answer This Question

A:  GR, Thanks for your questions. Testing for 2 rooms will cost $105 for lab analysis. We do recommend you send all samples in one testing session at once to avoid delays in the analysis. You must include an additional outdoor sample with every testing session. If you test in 2 batches or 2 different days, you need to include an outdoor sample each time. Yes, expiration dates are printed on the air cassettes for reference.
