A:  Yes, this material can be installed directly over rubber roofing.

A:  This material functions best when placed over concrete. You can use a mixture of sand and crushed gravel but it would have to be compacted into a solid surface. The most important part is that the surface is solid, flat and smooth for the Deck Tiles.

A:  Yes, these tiles interlock with each other to weigh down to the surface. This allows them to stay down in high winds.

A:  The interlocking system of the tile keep them attached together. The tiles work in concert with each other to weigh each other down to the surface

A:  We do not recommend installing this material over hard dirt. This product works best when installed over concrete or a pre-existing deck.

A:  Yes, If the surface is flat and smooth then these tile can be installed on the top of asphalt.
